Memorial fund is launched in honour of accident victimsA FUND has been launched today by the East Anglian Daily Times for a permanent memorial for four Suffolk men who died in a horrific industrial accident. The Four Friends Memorial Fund is in honour of brothers Thomas, 26, and Daniel Hazelton, 30, Peter Johnson, 42, and Adam Taylor, 28, who were killed while working at Claxton Engineering Services Limited in Great Yarmouth on Friday. Charity match raises money!The money raised ( £1,500 ) was as a result of the now annual Charity Football match between representative sides from ther two local leagues: The Glasswells World of Furniture St Edmundsbury Football League and the Frames Conservatories Direct Bury & District Sunday League. The money was donations from clubs within the two leagues plus gate receipts and a raffle. The facilities at Bury Town FC were kindly donated foc. New player registration forms available in documents sectionThe League would like to re-iterate that unless a self stamped addressed envelope is enclosed for return of the form to the club secretary the form will not be processed and the relevant club charged with poor administration. Also that forms must be with the league registration secretary the Saturday 8 days before a Sunday match for any chance of that player being eligible. |
