The league staged the first of the divisional ko cup semi finals with the Days Sports wear division four. AFC Norton wear hosted by Abbotts 07 at the British Sugar club, AFC booked their place in the final after scoring five without reply. Playing AFC Norton will be Walsham who were entertained by Black Boy. Walsham won the match 4-2. Onto the league matches, in division one Ixworth hosted Rickinghall, neither team could find the net and had to settle for a point a piece. Moulton's home match with Gym Utd was postponed. Stow Excelsior were hosted by Eagle 90 who scored eight without reply. In divisiion two, CFC Bury entertained Real BSE on the Victory Ground, the hosts won the match after scoring thirteen of the fifteen goals scored. Tuddenham travelled to play Chedburgh, the points went to Tuddenham after a 6-1 victory.Bury Bowl were entertained by AFC Hardwick, Bowl scored through Fethi Jarboui 3, Ash Macdonald, Barry Budgen, Ash Read and Ben Tooke in their 7-2 win. A close scoring match was at Stanton where Cock Inn hosted Rattlesden who went on to win the points with a 6-4 victory. In division three. Thurston travelled to the Heath to play Westbury who did get on the score sheet but Thurston went on to score thirteen, Eastbury were hosted by Euston, Eastbury scored four goals without reply, Buxhall travelled to play Cockfield and came away with the points by scoring the odd goal in five. And finally another close match was at Redgrave where ATEC were the opposition, five of the nine goals scored were by ATEC. This weekend the league will be staging the quarter finals of the West Suffolk Motor Factors Open Cup, apart from those matches all other matches will be for league points Ian Friend |

Every match played was for league points, In division one Rickinghall hosted Moulton, the hosts won the match with a 6-2 victory. Gym Utd were awarded the points after Stow Excelsior were unable to raise a team to play the match. Tostock were entertained at Nowton Park by Bennetts, Tostock scored through Will Brown 4, Jack Brame 3, Lewis Kemp 2, Sam Parker, Charlie Robinson & Scott Swallow and Alan North scored twice for Bennetts. In Division two Cock Inn entertained Bury Bowl a close scoring match went in favour of Bowl who won by the odd goal in seven. Barry Budgen, Ash Macdonald, Jack Jillings and Ben Tooke scored their goals. Rattlesden travelled to play Tuddenham 08, the hosys scored five of the six goals scored in the match. Aaron Marsden 2, Dave Lampshire and Dan Bright scored CFC Bury's goals in their 4-0 win against AFC Hardwick at the Heath. With no matches in division three onto to division four, Norfolk Terriers hosted Minden Rose who won the points with the odd goal in nine, David Dixon and Killick Conney both scored twice for the hosts. Thurston Victoria were hosted by Mildenhall High Town, both team had to settle for a point as neither could find the net. Great Barton travelled to play Lakenheath and went away with the points following a 4-1 victory.Deers Leap were entertained by Abbotts, both clubs scored a solitary goals and shared the points, and finally Walsham hosted AFC Norton, the hosts won the match by the odd goal in five through William Goulding 2 and Aaron Stannard. | The league was represented in all three of the Suffolk County FA Sunday Cup competitions. In the Sunday Cup we had two representatives who were draw together therefore we knew only one would remain and that was Gym Utd who were hosted by Ixworth, Gym scored through Andrew Wood 4, Liam Bolton 2 and S Walker in their 7-0 victory. In the Sunday Shield Trimley Rangers made the long trip along the A14 to play Tuddenham 08, the hosts who through with a 6-2 win. Bury Bowl hosted Kelsale, after ninety minutes the match was tied therefore the match was decided in extra time and the odd goal in eleven went to Kelsale. Cock Inn were hosted by Pauls from Ipswich, the match went in favour of Cock Inn from penalties after a one all draw, Gary Welsh scoring the goal. In the Sunday Trophy Walsham were entertained by Finningham Flyers, the hosts scored six without reply. Chantry Old Boys were the visitors to Black Boy, this turned out to be a close match as the hosts won by the odd goal in five. At the Heath Eastbury Eagles entertained Rushmere Diamonds, Eastbury scored through Norton with 4, Chappell with 3 and Stephenson in their 8-3 victory. Elmsett Rose & Crown travelled to play Mildenhall High Town Sy Minster scored two of Mildenhall's goals in their 6-2 victory. Now onto the league programe, One Division one ko cup match was scheduled but didn't get played as Bennetts could not raise a team to play at Moulton. In division one, Howards entertained Eagle 90 who scored the only two goals of the game for the points. Tostock hosted Stow Excelsior, the host scored two early goals through Ian Bloomfield, however Ben Stollery scored from the spot to reduce the deferceit, the hosts scored futher goals from will Brown 3, jack Brame 2, Charlie Robinson Lewis Kemp and Ian Bloomfield completed his hat trick. In division two, Rattlesden were due to host CFC Bury but were unable to raise a team. Real BSE entertained AFC Hardwick at the Heath, a close match was won by the hosts 2-1. In division three, Buxhall's Paul Davy 2 Joe Allum and Martyn Fisher scored the goals that beat Euston 4-1 at their ground. Gardboldisham were awarded the points as Rougham forfieted the match. Westbury were the visitors to Thurston who scored six without reply. In division four Norfolk Terriers entertained Great Barton both teams scored twice for a share of the points, Ryan Perry and Declan Walsh scored for Barton. Abbotts were the visitory to AFC Norton, ten goals were scored , nine of them by the hosts. And finally Lakenheath hosted Thurston Victoria who went away with the points following a 5-2 win. | It was knock out cup action in all four divisions, In the division one ko cup Ixworth hosted Gym Utd who went away with a place in the semi's after a 4-2 victory. Howards travelled to play Rickinghall, only one goal was scored in he match and that went to the hosts. Tostock were entertained by Eagle 90 at Whelnetham and found themselves 2-1 down at the break their goal coming from Ian Bloomfield, but in the second half scored a further eight goals through Matt Allen, Jack Brame, Will Brown and Tom Fenner all with a brace to make to final score 4-9. In the division two ko cup group A, Chedburgh hosted Bury Bowl who scored through Barry Budgen 2, Justin Crysell, Ed Beeton and Ash Macdonald. scorers for the hosts were David Venables and Michael Turner. Tuddenham travelled to play Rattlesden and after a close match it was Tuddenham who won the tie by scoring the odd goal in five. In group B, Real BSE hosted AFC Hardwick who scored twice without reply, CFC Bury were entertained by Cock Inn and im surprised at the score as CFC bury won the match 3-1. In the division three ko cup Buxhall Utd hosted Atec 2011 with the score a two all after ninety minutes match went into extra time where the hosts scored a further three goals, there scorers were James Hawkins 2, Martyn Fisher, Joe Allum and Scott Gregory. Rougham Lions were unable to fulfill there fixture therefore Thurston will recieve a place in the semi's. Euston entertained Redgrave, Arun Lucraft scored five of Redgrave's goals in their 10-2 victory. Eastbury were the visitors to Gardboldisham and went away with a close 2-1 victory. In the Days Sportswear division four ko cup Walsham entertained Mildenhall High town, the hosts won this tie with a 5-2 victory. Also through to the semi finals are Black Boy who entertained Deers Leap and won the match 4-2 The match between Lakenheath and AFC Norton was postponed. And finally Minden Rose werethe visitors to Abbotts, the hosts won the match with a 4-2 win. This weekend Moulton and Bennett Arms will be looking to book there place in the division one ko cup semi'finals and their are culbe representing the league in the Suffolk County FA Sunday Cup, Shield and Trophy and all of them will be up against teams from other leagues apart from the Sunday cup match where Ixworth will host Gym Utd.Good luck to all of them and hopefully they will all be in the quarter finals in January. A few matches were postponed because of the weather and other reasons. The fog cleared at Walsham Le Willows ground at 1pm so Gym Utd could host Trimilinni in the FA Carlsberg Sunday Cup. Trimilinni put there hosts under pressure from the start and scored from a penalty after eighteen minutes then added a second two minutes later. After the interval Gym had more of the ball putting their North London opponents under pressure and had a few chances to get back into the game, however with time running out and Gym pushing forward looking to get back into the game their opponents broke away and added a third. On the day Gym put up a very good display against Trimipilinni who were a very good team with very good players in every department. Onto league matches now, three matches were due to be played in division one and none were as the matches between Howards against Eagle 90 and Moulton against Ixworth were postponed because of fog. Rickinghall were awarded a home win as Stow Excelsior forfeited the match. In division two, two matches in each of the groups in the KO cup were played,In group A, Bury Bowl hosted Rattlesden, the hosts won the match 7-3 with their goals coming from Ryan McLees 2, Lee Sayer, Justin Crysell, Chris Foyle Ed Beeton & Ash McDonald. Chedburgh were the visitors to Tuddenham, the hosts won the match 7-2. In group B, Real BSE home match with Cock Inn was postponed, AFC Hardwick visited the Victory Ground to play CFC Bury who won the match with a 7-2 victory. In division three, Rougham were entertained by Cockfield who scored twelve goals without reply. Thurston were hosted by Euston, the points were shared with a one all draw. Atec 2011 entertained Buxhall who surprisingly were beaten 7-0 by their hosts. Gardboldisham were entertained by Eastbury, the hosts won the points witha 6-1 victory. Redgrave hosted Westbury, the hosts winning this match by scoring seven of the eight goals scored. In division four, Walsham against Minden Rose and Norfolk Terriers against Great Barton were both postponed. that left three games played, Lakenheath entertained Abbotts, the hosts winning the points after scoring the odd goal in five. AFC Norton and Thurston both gained a point from their match after sharing the two goals. and finally Mildenhall High Town were hosted by Black Boy and they went back to Mildenhall with the points after a 5-2 victory. Before the start of this weekends matches in the West Suffolk Motor Factors Open Cup and league matches a minute silence was observed for Remembrance Sunday. In the Open cup Tostock travelled to th Victory Ground to play CFC Bury. Tostock had numerous chances to open the scoring but poor finishing and severals good saves by the CFC keeper kept them in the game and CFC went in at the break a goal up after converting one of the two chances they had in the first period. After the break Tostock scored through Lewis Kemp, Jack Brame, Matt Allen, Will Brown and Aaron Briton to win the match 5-1. Gym Utd were due to host Real BSE who forfeited the match as did Rattlesden who were due to be entertained by AFC Norton. Cock Inn travelled to play Moulton and scored seven of the twelve goals scored in the match through Jack Foreman with a hat trick, Chris Forsdyke 2, Ben Cobbold and Karl Tarpley. Tuddenham 08 hosted Rickinghall, a close scoring match went in favour of the visitors who scored the odd goal in three. Stow Excelsior went hosted by Thurston from division three, the hosts scored seven without reply. Chedburgh were entertained by Ixworth and no surprises here as the hosts won the tie 5-1. Black Boy were the visitors to AFC Hardwick who scored three without reply. In the league, division three, Cockfield were hosted by Buxhall who came back from two goals down to win the match 5-3 with goals coming from Matt chaplin 2, Carl Nicholls,Mikey Pearsc and James Hawkins. At the Heath, Westbury enteratined Garboldisham, eight golas were scored in the match, five by Gardboldisham. In division four, Mildenhall High Town went on a scoring spree over Deers Leap, with their goals coming from Chris Merchant and Matt Hayden both with hat tricks, Sy Minister 2, Ryan Scott and Tienan Bowland, with a final score of 10-2. Lakenheath visited the Heath to play Thurston Victoria, the hosts won the points with a 3-1 vwin. Minden Rose hosted Norfolk Terriers, Minden scored the only goal of the game for thr points. And finally Walsham were entertained by Abbotts, the points went to Walsham after a 3-1 victory. This weekend the league stages more matches in group A & B of the division two KO Cup. Also at Walsham Le Willows FC Gym Utd will host FC Trimpilinni in the FA Carlsberg Sunday Cup, the match kick off at 1pm and not as stated in the Sunday league fixtures, im sure that Gym would welcome all the support they have from anyone involved with this league. The three Suffolk County FA County Cups took centre stage this week and all the club progressed except two. In the Sunday Cup one of our league representatives had to go out as Ixworth hosted Moulton, the hosts progressed with a 4-2 victory. Kitchener Taverners were entertained by Gym Utd at Oakes Road and the host needed extra time to go through with the odd goal in five. In the Sunday Shield, all three clubs go into round four as all had home advantage. Bury Bowl needed extra time to beat Acton Crown 3-2 with there goals coming from Lee Sayer, Ed Beeton and Fethi Jarboui, Tuddenham 08 had a easier passage against Ipswich Thistle as they recorded six goals without reply, goals came from Jerome Singleton 3, Aaron Kohn, Shane Leech and an own goal. Cock Inn also won by six clear golas against Waldringfield, the final result was 7-1 with Cock Inn's goals coming from Ben Cobbold and Gary Welsh, both with hat tricks and Karl Tarpley. In The Sunday Trophy six of our seven clubs won through. Eastbury Eagles made the long trip to Oulton Broard to play Gunton Reserves and came away with an excellent 2-0 victory through Ian Walker and Will Gough, Westbury Wanderers travelled to plat Elmsett Rose & Crown and were the only club to exit at this round as the hosts won 6-1. Black Boy entertained Studlands Park, Boy winning with the odd goal in three. Cockfield has to travel to Sudbury Upper School to play Northcroft and also go into round four with a very good 6-1 victory. Grosvenor from Felixstowe were entertained by Walsham, the close scoring match went in favour of the hosts with a 2-1 win. Will Golding and Aaron Stannard were the Walsham scorers. Mildenhall High Town had an early start to there journey to Ipswich based Old Times and the journey was woth it as they scored the only goal of the game for a place in the next round. And finally in this cup Snape entertained Redgrave Rangers who recorded a 5-2 victory. The forth round of all three of these competitions is on December 4th A number of games in the league were played,In division one, Eagle 90 were due to host Bennetts who forfieted the match. In division two, Real Bse visited Rattlesden and went away with the points following a 4-2 win, AFC Hardwick hosted Chedburgh, the hosts won this one 3-1. In division three Euston entertained ATEC 2011 who scored four goals to win the match 4-1. Buxahll's James Hawikins scored 4, Mickey Pearse 2 Joe Allum, Kieron Morley and Paul Davy all with one a piece in there 9-3 victory over Gardboldisham, Also scoring nine were Thurston who entertained Rougham Lions who did get on the score sheet with a solitary goal. In division four, Great Barton were the visitors to Abbotts, Barton scored six without reply through Mark Nunn2, Charlie Squire, Ton Graham, Eoin quinn and Ryan Perry. Thurston Victoria hosted Deers Leap at the Heath, the visitors went away with the points after scoring the odd goal in three. Lakenheath entertained Norfolk Terriers and a close scoring match ended with a 3-2 home victory. This weekend we have another round of the West Suffolk Motor Factors Open Cup. Only five matches were for league points as the Second round of the Suffolk FA County Cups was staged.In the Sunday Cup, Moulton were due to host Mellis and were handed a place in the third round as there opponents were unable to forfeited the match. Rickinghall made the long trip to play Shotley Rose, the hosts scored three without reply. Harrod UK from Lowestoft hosted Gym Utd, the hosts did get on the scoresheet with a solitary goal but Gym scored twelve to go through. Stow Excelsior travelled to Felixstowe to play Underwoods and came away without scoring and conceeding six goals. Woolpack visited Ixworth who won the tie win a 3-0 scoreline. In the Sunday Shield CFC Bury travelled to play Newmarket Cherry Tree and CFC were could only score three of the seven goals scored in the match. Bury Bowls Ryan McLees scored a hat trick and Justin Crysell scored the other goal in there 4-3 victory at Prince Of Wales from Newmarket. Tuddenham 08 entertained AFC Hardwick, the hosts scored five without reply. Also 5-0 winners were Cock Inn after there travelled to the Heath to play Real BSE. Rattlesden hosted Boxford who went through to round three with a 7-1 win Chedburgh's Venables and Butler scored but that wasn't enough as there hosts went scored three to go through. In the Trophy Buxahll Utd travelled to play Snape and all looked good at half time as ther were leading 3-1 with goals fromScott Gregory, Martyn Fisher and an own goal but after the break Snape scored four to win 5-3. Euston entetained Haverhill Hammers and they did just that as they scored four without reply. Deers Leap were the visitors to Cockfield, the hosts won this match 8-2. Eastbury Eagles entertained AFC Thurlow at the Heath, with the scores level at one all after ninety minutes the match was decided in extra tme with the hosts scoring four more goals. Walsham's Will Golding scored 5, Nathan Brown a brace and Hayden Davies, Lee Jermyn and Jules guest all with a single goals in there 10-2 home victory over Norfolk Terriers. Lakenheath hosted Mildenhall High Town who went on to win the fixture with a 6-1 win through Chris Merchant 2, Gary Allen, Shane Scott and Aaron Sakaye. Black Boy travelled to play Cornard Crusaders and came away with a place in round three with a 6-2 vioctory. Great Barton travelled to play Northcroft from the Sudbury area and were level at two all after ninety minutes however the hosts scored four more goals in extra time to win 6-2, the trird round of these three Suffolk County Cups in on November 6th Now onto the few league matches that were played. In division one Eagle 90 were hosted by Bennett Arms, Eagle went on to score six without reply. Tostock visited Northumberland Avenue to play Howards, Tostock's Jack Brame and Aaron Britton scored hat tricks, Will Brown and Will Newall with a brace a pieece and Lewis Kemp, Natt Parker and Ian Bloomfield all with one goal in there 13-0 victory. In division three, Thurston entertained Redgrave Rangers who went away with the points following a 5-3 victory. Also five three winners were Garboldisham who entertained Atec. An finally in division four, AFC Norton visited the Heath tp play Thurston Victoria and came away with the points with a 4-1 win. This weekend im sure Gym Utd would appreciate good support at Walsham Le Willows home ground as they play there first ever match in The Football Association Carlsburgh Sunday Trophy. They host Offley Moat and the match kicks off at 2-00pm. Lets all hope they can do what Earl Soham Victoria achieved back in 2000 when they played Eastleigh Social Club at Wembley and they lifted the Trophy before the start of the FA Vase final. With only one league match scheduled all of the other matches were in the West Sufflok Motor Factors Open Cup, and there were a few surprise results. Real BSE visited Mildenhall High town, Real scored two of the three goals for there victory. CFC Bury entertained Howards, the hosts won the match by scoring the odd goal in seven. Aty Greens Meadow Stow Excelsior hosted Walsham, the division four side put up a very good show against there division one hosts but went down 5-3. Lakenheath visited the Heath to play AFC Hardwick who scored six without reply. Deers Leap entertained Tuddenham 08, the visitors won the match 4-2, Ixworth made the short trip to play Great Barton and came away with a place in the next round with a 9-0 victory. The big surprise of the day was at Black Boy who entertained Eagle 90 and won the match with the odd goal in five, Norfolk Terriers visited Chedburgh who won the match with a comfortable 7-1 victory. Darren Chambers and joe Allum scored a brace for Buxhall but there hosts Coock Inn scored nine goals from Jack Foremam 3 Chris Forsdyke 3 Jamie Knight Ryan Black and Karl Tarpley. Moulton were entertaiend by Eastbury at the Heath, a close scoring match went to the visitors who scored the odd goal in seven. The only match that couldn't be decided at 120 minutes and wa decided on penalties was at AFC Norton who hosted Bury Bowl, after a 3-3 all scoreline Norton won the penalty shoot out 4-2, Gym Utd were entertained by Thurston Victoria, credit should go to victoria for getting on the scoresheet however Gym scored fourteen. Tostock travelled to Ixworth to play Atec2011, the hosts put up a good effort but Tostock won the tie 2-1 with goals from Ian Bloomfield & Natt Parker. Thurston hosted Abbotts, the host scoring twice without reply. Minden Rose visited Rickinghall who won the tie 5-1 and finally Rougham entertained Rattlesden who scored four goals without reply. The one league fixture was in Division Three Redgrave Rangers hosted Euston, the hosts scored fifteen goals without reply. This weekend the second round of the Suffolk County FA sunday Cups take place, a few have long trips, Gym Utd travel to Lowestoft to play Harrod UK and Stow Excelsior also go the coast to play Underwoods from Felixstowe and Rickinghall go to play Shotley Rose.
